A lightbulb exploded on the set of Desperate Housewives , injuring actress Teri Hatcher.

Hatcher told People magazine: “Glass lodged in my right eye and proceeded to scratch my cornea."

The actress was seen by a doctor immediately after the incident and will be able to return to work in a few days. She added: "I'M in some pain, but trying to see the humor in the oddity of it all. No one was at fault.”
