Halle Berry and Benicio Del Toro will star together in the film Things We Lost in the Fire for DreamWorks Pictures. Danish director Susanne Bier (Open Hearts) will be behind the camera, and the scenario was written by Allan Loeb. The story follows a woman (Berry) whose husband suddenly dies. She then invites her husband's best friend (Del Toro), to stay with the family. The two face the loss together and rebuild their lives.
