Britain's rock group The Rolling Stones have been forced to delay their European tour due to guitarist Keith Richards' recent operation. The A Bigger Bang tour was to begin in Barcelona on May 27. According to NME, the concerts have been pushed back until June to allow Richards time to recuperate. Richards had been on holiday in Fiji when he fell from a tree and sustained head injuries which required surgery. The 62 year-old musician had blood in his brain. According to a statement from the band, "The operation was a complete success and Keith is already up and talking with his family today. He will need a few weeks recuperation." |
