French actress Audrey Tautou has revealed that she nearly missed her audition for the movie The Da Vinci Code because she was on holiday. The Amélie star refused to meet the director of Da Vinci Code for screen tests, because it would have cut her holiday in Mexcio short. But director Ron Howard hung in there and the French beauty finally agreed to do the screen tests with co-star Tom Hanks. Tautou claimed, "I didn't refuse to see him. He was doing one day of casting where he was going to meet everyone, but I was in Mexico." |
