Richard Greenberg's Broadway theatre production, Three Days of Rain, starring Julia Roberts, is going to be adapted for cinema. Deborah Reinisch bought the rights to adapt the production, and plans to both produce and direct the movie. She's hoping to be able to start filming in spring 2007, but the cast has not yet been confirmed. The story centres on a brother and sister, flipping between 1960 and 1995. They meet a friend from the past, reuniting after the death of their father, who is a well-known architect. Joe Mantello is currently directing the Broadway version starring Julia Roberts, Paul Rudd and Bradley Cooper. |
