Following a recent trip to Africa, American actor Matt Damon has been inspired to help Africa fight AIDS. In an interview with Access Hollywood, the Good Will Hunting, and The Bourne Identity star said that he thought it was possible to fight this disease. The actor spent six days in Zambia, a country where 16% of the population have AIDS, visiting several areas, including clinics that are financially supported by the American government. He praised the government's relief efforts. "You walk into these clinics, you're surrounded by people who are alive and well because of the president's plan and because of this money," he said.
