Paris Hilton seems to have been inspired by ex-best friend Nicole Richie to pen a song for her first album. In an interview with the magazine Out, the star of the television series Simple Life, revealed the story behind one of the tracks on her first album. Hilton would not confirm whether or not Jealousy was about her relationship with Richie, with whom she has been having a well-documented feud over the past few months. She explained, "It's a song about any girl... Any girl has a girlfriend that's jealous of you. It's the meanest, most evil thing that can take over you." As for Richie, Hilton said, "I brought her on ['The Simple Life'], and all of a sudden she became this different person. She dropped her old friends and now she's someone else. That's not the girl I know. That's similar to the lyrics in 'Jealousy.' " A release date for the album has not been confirmed. |
