Rumour has it that Jessica Simpson is planning on adopting a child, but according to FemaleFirst, the star, who recently separated from husband Nick Lachey, is not planning to go ahead with it just yet. Simpson has been supporting Mexican orphanages for several years now and it was thought that she was planning on adopting a chld from that country. The Dukes of Hazzard star began making monetary contributions to the orphanages when she was 11 years old, but has said: "I'M not adopting a child. No, not yet. I support an orphanage in Mexico - that's where the rumours come from. I haven't been down in a couple years but I'M making a trip pretty soon actually." Simpson also said that she is inspired by Angelina Jolie, who also helps orphans, and has adopted two children herself. |
