Alec Baldwin has been granted extra visitation rights to his daughter by a US judge. According to AFP, Baldwin's visits to 10 year-old Ireland have been an ongoing issue between Baldwin and his ex-wife, actress Kim Basinger, after the couple split in 2000. They have been embroiled in a bitter legal battle over custody and visitation rights ever since. This latest ruling came after Baldwin asked the courts to grant him an additional weekend with his daughter, after she missed a scheduled visit because she was too ill to travel to New York, where Baldwin lives. Neither of the stars were present in court when the ruling was handed down, although the judge spoke to Baldwin by telephone. |
