Audrey Tautou does not plan on acting for the rest of her life, because she is already tired of her megastar status. According to FemaleFirst, the The Da Vinci Code star does not enjoy the constant media attention, and prefers her anonymous life. Tautou, 27, explained, "I used to think I would retire from films at 40, then it was 30. Maybe I would like to do something more private and discreet with my life." The young actress was thrilled to star with Tom Hanks, who has won two Oscars. Audrey is already a huge star in France, where she has starred in a host of films, including international box office hit Amélie. She continued, "For me, acting was a bit of a lazy activity. I never said I wanted to be an actress. I gave myself one year and if, at the end of that time, I hadn't done what I wanted, I would do something else." |
