Pete Doherty seems to be continuing down the road to self-destruction, creating a host of problems for himself along the way with his latest stunt. During a television interview in Germany with his Babyshambles bandmates, Doherty squirted an MTV camera with what appeared to be a syringe of his own blood, after injecting himself with heroin in view of the crew. He had originally refused to give the interview, but seemd to change his mind and stumbled onto the set with a syringe concealed in his hand, which he then discharged at the camera. Although Doherty appeared pleased with himself, his bandmate Drew McConnell, the band's bassist, was outraged, declaring "I think the interview is over. I'M really sorry mate, that's f***** up." before storming off. |
