New mum Katie Holmes is exhausted and emotional following the birth of of her daughter. According to The Sun, Tom Cruise's fiancée is suffering from the "baby blues", or post-partum depression. A friend of the actress told The Sun, "Katie told pals it's natural for new mums to experience strong emotions," but sources have said that she is frequently red-eyed and teary when guests call at the hosue. Holmes is also working hard to regain her pre-pregnancy figure with a personal trainer, on a special workout program. Tom Cruise came under fire last year, when he slammed new mums for turning to drugs to help them cope with post-natal depression, insisting that they should take vitamins and use relaxation techniques instead. |
