Actor Nicolas Cage has become the owner of a 40-acre island in the Bahamas. According to the Wall Street Journal, he paid $3 million. Although Cage himself has never visited the untouched island, he may be thinking of developing it. The island is not far from Faith Hill and Tim McGraw's Caribbean island, 85 miles away from Nassau. The Bahamas is made up of 365 separate islands. Cage, who won an Oscar for his performance in the film Leaving Las Vegas, already owns a home on Paradise Island. Last year, he sold his Malibu home for $10 million. Cage, 40, and his wife, Alice, 22, are the parents of a son who was born last October, named Ka-el Coppola Cage. |
