Despite disppointing refusals from the Royal family and other famous guests, the Beckhams managed to throw quite a party to give the English football team a charity send-off before the World Cup, which begins in just a few weeks.
Celebrity guests caused a tail-back outside Beckingham Palace, as David football colleagues Wyane Rooney and Alshey Cole amongst others, arrived with their ladies and other celebs including Elle Macpherson, the Osbournes, P Diddy, Will Young and even Kate Moss all arrived, having forked out £2000 for Unicef and the Beckham's own children's charity to come.
Despite less than perfect weather and a few problems in the kitchen caused by Gorden Ramsey's football injury, the party and celeb auction which followed went with a swing, with Posh telling the Sun: "Everybody who was invited turned up. Everyone is having an amazing time and we're giving the England side a really good send-off."
The stars were entertained by Robbie Williams and soul sensation James Brown, as well as magic tricks from David Blaine. |
