Brittany Murphy has kept the fact that she is a pretty good singer hidden from her fans... up until now. According to website IOL, the Just Married star is embarking on a musical career with the help of superstar DJ Paul Oakenfold. Murphy admits, however, that this wasn't her first time in a recording studio. The 28 year-old celebrity said, "I've been singing anonymously my whole life… I've sung the hooks on a lot of rap and R&B songs - I just never took the credit." Murphy's friends already know that she is a good singer, after going to karaoke bars with her, the actress loves performing so much that she even has an 'I Love Karaoke' T shirt. She added, "Music has been a part of my soul since I was born. It's something that I've always done, but I've done it very quietly." The first single from her album will be Faster Kill Pussycat, and should be released next month. |
