Casey Affleck was married over the weekend, to girlfriend Summer Phoenix. Boston magazine has reported that the 30 year-old younger brother of actor Ben Affleck, married Summer, 28, after six years of dating. Summer Phoenix is the sister of actor Joaquin and the late River Phoenix. Joaquin Phoenix introduced the couple, after becoming good friends with the Afflecks while making the film To Die For in 1995. The couple became engaged in New York during a Christmas holiday in 2003. Casey and Summer are already the parents of a son, Indiana August, who was born on March 31st, 2004. The couple share a passion for politics and animal rights. Summer spoke about Affleck, saying, "He is the most generous guy I have ever met." At the moment, Casey Affleck is working on the film Gone, Baby, Gone, which is being directed by his brother, Ben. |
