Uma Thurman to Star in Bloom

Uma Thurman (Kill Bill, My Super Ex-Girlfriend) will star in the film In Bloom, an adaption of the novel "The Life Before Her Eyes" by Laura Kasischke.  Vadim Perelman will direct the project, which will start production in August.  The plot follows the story of a woman living an ideal life until it all falls apart after she survives a shooting spree in a school.

It is a second book adaptation for director Vadim Perelman, who also directed House of Sand and Fog.  Emil Stern wrote the screenplay.
