Pop diva Charlotte Church has reportedly turned down her boyfriend Gavin Henson's proposal, because he wasn't romantic enough.
The Welsh rugby star is said to have told Church that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her, but she was outraged by his businesslike manner. The last straw came when he said they could get engaged 'by mutual agreement' which went down even less well.
In an interview with New magazine, the singing sensation said that "I've told him he has to go down on bended knee, I want the ring all f***ing picked out and ready.""
Her beau seems to have other ideas however and friends say that he has even indicated that he would like Church to be the one to propose to him. She went on: "He says, 'Can't we just say we want to do it by mutual agreement?' But that's b******s. I said, 'You have to do the whole thing properly.'" |
