Paramount Pictures and Steven Spielberg are developing a science-fiction film project set in outer space. The story follows a group of explorers who cross into another dimension. Spielberg hopes to direct the film, which will be produced by Lynda Obst. The project, which is still in the early stages, was inspired by a scientific theory put forth by Kip S. Thorne, who contends that it is possible to enter other dimensions and travel through time. Spielberg's next directing project will be a fourth installment of the Indiana Jones series with Harrison Ford in the title role. He is also set to start work on a drama about the life of Abraham Lincoln, inspired by a book by Doris Kearns Goodwin, with Liam Neeson as Lincoln. |
