According to Ananova, the former star of Sex and the City was chosen by the magazine's readers as the most beautiful woman in the world, beating tough competition from Catherine Zeta-Jones, Eva Longoria, Halle Berry and Charlize Theron, to name a few. The magazine's publisher, Sara Cremer, said of Davis' new title, "Kristin's natural beauty with her on-screen presence make her a woman with style and substance. She exudes sex appeal without compromising her intelligence and independence." Davis, 41, reveals that her mother taught her how to be comfortable with her natural beauty, particularly as she ages. Cremer concluded, "All the women in our top ten are in their 30s and 40s, proving women just get better with age."
