Jon Bon Jovi has revealed that he ignores his critics and is concentrating on using his good fortune to help others. Not only is he an awesome rocker from the 80's, he is also a volunteer with a big heart. Bon Jovi, in partnership with Habitat for Humanity, is helping hurricane victims in Pennsylvania and Louisiana by rebuilding houses and has already helped to rebuild 26 homes. Some may write it off as a publicity stunt, or good PR, but Bon Jovi has slammed critics, saying that his good deeds "give me peace". "I have a responsibility. I have to do it. It gives me peace. I'd never have believed how giving and volunteerism lights your life up, or the pure joy of getting involved in a cause", he explained Jon Bon Jovi to the New York Post. Bon Jovi the group has sold over 33 million albums in the United States alone, and a total of 100 million around the globe. In 1990, the song Blaze of Glory won them a Golden Globe for Best Song. |
