Singer Peter Gabriel is ready for the Autumnl release of his new CD, Big Blue Ball. The former Genesis singer is releasing the album 15 years after starting work on the collection of songs. Gabriel began recording the music in the early 90s. He told Billboard magazine, "The idea was to put rock musicians together with musicians from all over the world and see what happened." Gabriel has been working on Big Blue Ball for the past three years, saying, "the tapes were left in a mess and it's taken this long to sort out." He was joined on the project by other artists including Sinead O'Connor, Karl Wallinger of World Party, Natacha Atlas and Papa Wemba. The exact release date has not been announced. |
