Kevin Federline has come under fire for his recent performance at the Teen Choice Awards. According to the Associated Press, the hip-hop community are under no threat from Federline's entry into the world of rap music, with several more established stars branding his performance a catastrophe. At the ceremony on Sunday, and eight-months pregnant Britney Spears introduced Federline to the crowd, as the 28 year-old took to the stage with a studied rap attitude. The most highly anticipated performance of the evening turned out to be the most riduculed. Elliot Wilson of XXL magazine said, "I just think we ignore him. He's a joke, basically. ... I just don't think he gets it. He doesn't get that he's Britney's man and it's hard to take him seriously." Playing with Fire, the Federline's first album, is set for an October release, with the birth of Spears and Federline's second child in September. They are already the parents of a 10 month-old son, Sean Preston. |
