Rockers The Darkness have responding to rumours of a split with their record label, in a statement on their official website. The group is denying claims that they have been dropped by Atlantic Records and also revealed that their lead singer, Justin Hawkins, recently entered a detoxification centre. The band rubbished the stories that they had been dumped, with: "On the contrary, they have taken up their option with the band and are looking forward to releasing The Darkness' third album in early 2007." The Darkness plans to get back in the recording studio as soon as Hawkins returns from treatment. |
