Beckham had stopped to sign autographs as he left the Real Madrid training ground, when he was asked if the couple were expecting another baby in Spanish, to which he replied 'yes' in Spanish. When the reporter pushed further, asking whether it was a girl or a boy, he smiled and continued to sign autographs. Within minutes, the story was on the Internet and has been reported in the Spanish press as fact.
His official spokesperson has refused to confirm or deny the rumours, although a source close to the couple claims that he misunderstood the question. The story comes after weeks of speculation that the pair are trying for a much-wanted baby sister for their three sons, Brooklyn, seven, Romeo, four, and Cruz, who is one. |
