Singer Whitney is planning her return for 2007. The star, who announced last week that she was separating from her husband, Bobby Brown, plans to release a new album in the next few months. The last CD from the diva was a holiday album in 2003, entitled One Wish: The Holiday Album. According to the New York Post, the star in determined to make a strong come back. She is working with Clive Davis, one of the most respected producers in the music industry. Davis is the head of CBS, Columbia and Arista Records. Clive Davis said, "She looks radiant and is clearly together. She is talking enthusiastically and is articulate. We are going to make a great album. In my opinion, the best singers in the world are Aretha Franklin and Whitney. That's not to knock Mariah Carey. Mariah is a friend of mine, but I think Mariah would even say those two are the best." |
