Singer George Michael has not been dropped by record label BMG. According to the website IOL, the management at BMG do not want to break their contract with Michael, despite his personal problems. They support and stand by him. The singer was arrested last week after he was found in his vehicle in an intoxicated state. It's the second time in a year that Michael, 43, has been found in possession of marijuana. A spokesperson for BMG stated, "We never bully our artists. If there was a time when record companies did that, it is long gone. We rang him up to ask if there's anything we could do, but that's it. We're backing him in his personal life and his decisions. " |
