Contrary to rumours, Orlando Bloom still appears to be a part of the fourth Pirates of the Caribbean film. Management at Disney, and producers of Pirates of the Caribbean claim that they do not want to get rid of Will, Bloom's character. According to British sources, the character played by Bloom did not have as much weight as those played by Keira Knightley and Johnny Depp. A spokesperson for Disney stated, "we cannot comment on specific plot points, such rumors are completely unfounded." The first two Pirates of the Caribbean films made £915 billion for Disney in 2003. The third, At World's End will hit cinemas on May 25 2007. |
