Sir Paul has reportedly said he is prepared to go all the way to defend himself against harmful allegations of violence, excessive drinking, drug-taking and bad behaviour that were leaked last week. Meanwhile, Heather's lawyers are asking for the divorce to be heard in open court in a public hearing, which is highly unusual for such cases. Sources on Sir Paul's side have indicated that it was in fact Heather who was violent towards Sir Paul, one example being a 'ketchup battle' in 2003 when Heather threw a bottle of ketchup at her husband's place and ruined an expensive carpet.
