Less than two months after the birth of her second son Jayden James, Britney Spears is to divorce Kevin Federline. The star filed for divorce on Monday citing irreconcilable differences, and is to ask for custody of one-year-old Sean Preston and two-month-old Jayden James. Britney and Kevin's two-year marriage has been dogged by rumours of trouble over his partying, failing rap career and lifestyle. They reportedly split after a row at Kev's album launch. Federline left his pregnant girlfriend Shar Jackson to be with Britney, and he has two other children with Jackson. It is thought the Federlines signed a pre-nup.
Britney's fans will be delighted that the star is finally ditching Kevin, as it was claimed he was only ever interested in his wife's fame and money. It seems that Brit is finally getting her life back on track, having shed her baby weight and got rid of Kevin, and she's planning a comeback album for 2007. |
