The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh were among guests at the premiere of Casino Royale, which has earned positive reviews so far for much-criticised hottie Daniel Craig.
Craig was one of the first to arrive on the red carpet and spent time chatting with fans and signing autographs. He said the best thing about playing Bond was the car he had to drive!
Meanwhile, co-star Eva Green said she enjoyed playing Daniel's Bond girl because she likes the character: "I wouldn't have wanted to do it if it was just a bikini-clad role," she said.
Judi Dench, who is the only actor in the film who also worked on the Pierce Brosnan Bond films, said that Daniel is a superb actor and there was nothing she could teach him. Among the stars at the premiere were Dame Shirley Bassey, Paris Hilton, Sir Elton John and the Sugababes. |
