Britney Spears has spoken out about the furore surrounding her recent spate of all-night partying and flashing her bits to photographers.
"I probably did take my new found freedom too far," Brit said. But she also defended her right to party after her split from Kevin Federline, saying, "It's been so long since I've been out on the town with friends. It's also been two years since I've even celebrated my birthday."
The 25-year-old posted the comments on her website along with a cheeky allusion to her recent habit of going out on the town knickerless: "Thank God for Victoria's Secrets' new underwear line!"
People are quick to write Britney off as a PR disaster with a tarnished, trailer trash image, but she confirmed she's looking forward to getting back into music and re-inventing herself: "I look forward to a new year, new music and a new me." |
