Socialite Nicole Richie was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs in the early hours of Monday morning, it has emerged.
The Simple Life star, who overcame a heroin addiction a few years ago, told officers she had smoked marijuana and taken prescription painkillers. Californian police stopped Richie after spotting her driving in the wrong lane.
She was taken to a station and bailed shortly after. Richie had reportedly been visiting new boyfriend Joel Madden, singer with Good Charlotte. |
