Halle Berry's singing career

Halle Berry is to become the latest actress to swap the big screen for the recording studio, à la Jennifer Lopez and Scarlett Johansson.

The 40-year-old Oscar winner has just finished working on her debut album, Halle, and is determined to succeed in the music business.

The album, which includes collaborations with Timbaland and Jamie Foxx, will be released in the US in February. Halle said, "I've always loved to sing and this album will show people that I can do more than act."
