Actor Jake Gyllenhaal was caught up in a real-life drama recently when his hotel caught fire.
Jake was staying at the Manka Inverness Lodge near San Francisco Bay with his family, including sister Maggie and her baby daughter Ramona. Holidaymakers were forced to evacuate when a tree fell on the building's water heater during a storm and fire broke out. It continued until the early hours of the following morning, and Jake apparently was quite the action man...Daniel DeLong, one of the resort's owners, said he was very helpful: "Jake was helping me pull things out of the fire." |
