Unconfirmed reports that Kate Moss and Pete Doherty have got married are circulating around the globe.
The pair reportedly tied the knot in a private ceremony on the Thai island of Phuket on New Year's Day. The supermodel, 32, and drug addict/sometime Babyshambles frontman, 27, were holidaying in Thailand, but it was an "open secret" among friends and partygoers staying there that they planned to marry.
The couple attended a party thrown by socialite David Tang on New Year's Eve, which was also attended by the Duchess Of York and her young daughters Beatrice and Eugenie. The ceremony took place in the early afternoon on 1st January. It is thought the wedding was a Thai Buddist-style 'marriage blessing' - more of a symbolic gesture than a legal marriage. Kate is known to be interested in Buddhism.
Meanwhile, friends are worried that Doherty, who has well-documented addictions to crack cocaine and heroin, could be entitled to half of Kate's £25 million fortune. |
