Whitney to auction off belongings

Whitney Houston, who decided to divorce Bobby Brown and turn her life around last year, is to sell hundreds of her belongings at auction to pay off her debts. More than 300 items, including clothing, a piano and other musical instruments from her 1999 world tour, will be sold.

Houston hopes to get rid of some of her debts with the money, which is expected to be between $175 000 and $200 000.

Houston, 43, separated from Brown in 2006 after fourteen years of marriage.
