Politically-minded musician Moby has strongly condemned the execution of Saddam Hussein. According to his website, Moby believes it was against God's will. The former Iraqui dictator was executed by hanging in Bagdad on 30th December for crimes against humanity. Moby is sad to see so many people around the world celebrating the death. The 41-year-old wrote on his website, "Saddam Hussein was a bad man, and a tyrant. But I don't know that 'celebrating' his death speaks so highly of the celebrants. I'M anti-death penalty. Executing the guilty might satisfy some violent blood-lust within us." |
