Britney Spears is working hard on her next album. According to her website, Spears will be releasing a new album on the Jive label before the end of 2007. The last few years have been very up-and-down for the star, who shot to fame at the age of 17. She got married twice, had two sons in record time, and promptly filed for divorce from Kevin Federline. Spears now feels that she is more mature, though she is worried about a backlash against her following her recent behaviour in public. She is aware that one of her fan websites, WorldofBritney.com, will soon be closing down due to her recent racy behaviour. Brit wrote on her site, "I am working hard to release the new album sometime later this year, but the date is of course not certain yet. I look forward to coming back this year bigger and better than ever, and to also reaching out to my fans on a more personal level." Britney's last album, In The Zone, sold more than three million copies in the US alone. |
