Actress Natalie Portman, originally from Israel, will be starring in the film version of the comic strip V for Vendetta. This star will play the part of Evey Hammond, a young girl who is rescued by a man who is disguised in a medieval cape and face mask. With time, she develops the V, a supernatural strength that enables her to fight the fascist government ruling Great Britain. This great classic, based on the comic strip written by Alan Moore, will be directed by James McTeigue, producing for the first time. Filming for V For Vendetta will begin in March in Berlin, Germany. |
