Elton John is to go on a diet to lose weight for his 60th birthday bash in March. The singer and husband David Furnish have been planning the New-York themed party for two years, and Elton wants to get in shape for his special day. The Candle in the Wind singer said, "I've let myself go recently so I'M on a diet and making an effort to exercise." Elton will perform at the Concert for Diana, which will take place in August on what would have been Diana's birthday, marking the tenth anniversary of her death. Bryan Ferry and Duran Duran have also confirmed their participation. |
