A telethon has been organized by one of America's top television networks that will bring together American celebrities to help tsunami victims in Southeast Asia. The telethon, on January 15, can be seen on NBC, and other national channels such as USA, Bravo, Trio, Sci-Fi, MSNBC and CNBC, in an effort to raise money for those affected by the tsunami. Another large Amercian media group, Clear Channel, which owns many radio stations, will also collaborate in the telethon. Several celebrities have confirmed their participation. Among those are George Clooney, and singers Tim McGraw, Christina Aguilera and Sheryl Crow. |
