Actor Leonardo DiCaprio and American director Martin Scorsese were honoured on Wednesday evening, in Paris. The two men were in Europe to promote the release of their new film The Aviator, and were greeted by the Minister of Culture Renaud Donnedieu de Vabres. Scorsese received the honour "Insignes d'officier" from the Ordre National de la Légion d'Honneur, while DiCaprio was honoured with the "Insignes de chevalier" from the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres. The Aviator will be coming to cinemas in France on January 26. |
