Johnny Depp is in discussions to bring the life of the late spy Alexander Litvinenko to the silver screen. The Pirates of the Caribbean star is interested in purchasing the film rights to Litvinenko's life. He was poisoned by a radioactive substance on November 1st. The book Sasha's Story: The Life and Death of a Russian Spy, was written by Alan Cowell and would serve as the basis for the film that Depp would like to star in. Litvinenko was poisoned after meeting three Russian men for lunch. The spy had confirmed that he had sensitive information regarding the Kremlin. |
