Kylie Minogue left the stage after performing just 45 minutes of a 2-hour set at the Manchester Evening News Arena on Saturday.
The 38-year-old explained to fans that she was suffering from flu but tried to get through the set, which included a duet with sister Dannii. Kylie said, I must apologise because I can't sing all the words tonight. I've got a cold and I'M struggling a bit. Do you mind if I just stand here and pose all night?"
Her spokesperson confirmed her illness is not in any way linked to her recovery from breast cancer, but friends fear Kylie came back too soon and that her immune system is still not fully functioning. Is it believed some further UK shows have been cancelled to allow Kylie time to recover. |
