Beatles lyrics sell for £150, 000

The original lyrics to The Beatles song While My Guitar Gently Weeps went under the hammer recently and sold for a staggering £150, 000 ($300, 000).

An unamed bidder bought the lyrics, the earliest recorded version of My Guitar Gently Weeps, which include lines which don't appear in the final recorded version on The Beatles' White Album from 1968. Handwritten by George Harrison, the sheet of paper also has the lyrics to Hey Jude on the back.
