America is preparing itself for the arrival of the Beckham clan!
Madame Tussaud's in New York have unveiled waxwork statues of the couple - draped in stars and stripes - being welcomed by none other than President George W Bush! The President is depicted holding a sign which reads 'Welcome to America.'
The statues were taken from Madame Tussaud's in London, and will remain on display in New York for 2 weeks. The Beckhams are set to move to LA, where David will start a 5-year contract with Californian club LA Galaxy.
Janine DiGioacchino, general manager of Madame Tussauds New York, said: "We are very excited to give visitors a chance to get up close and personal with Posh and David Beckham. Posh and Becks are celebrity icons in England and already on the path to superstardom in the United States." Well, well... |
