New role for Katie Holmes

Katie Holmes has joined the cast of the film Mad Money.

According to Variety, Holmes will join Queen Latifah in the film, which will be directed by Callie Khouri.

The script is based on the British programme Hot Money, where three female employees plan to rob their boss.

The third actress has not yet been selected.  Filming for Mad Money is set to begin in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Holmes, 28, will return to work after taking time out to have baby Suri, who was born last April.
