Lindsay Lohan has turned down a part in A Woman of Importance, which will also star Annette Bening, so that she can continue her treatment for alcohol abuse. Leslie Sloane Zelnick, Lohan's representative, told People magazine, "It's a mature thing to do. She's doing this so she can focus on getting better." Lohan, who is currently in a California detoxification centre, is on day leave from the clinic so that she can continue working on new film I Know Who Killed Me, but says she won't do the same thing again. Zelnick added, "She doesn't want to just yes to everyone and compromise herself anymore." |
