Release date announced for new Indiana Jones

The fourth instalment of the Indiana Jones films will hit cinemas in May 2008.

The famous archeologist, played by Harrison Ford, will be back on the silver screen during the American Memorial Day weekend, which is always a prime weekend for a film launch.

Filming for the new film will start in June under the direction of Steven Spielberg. Producer George Lucas has also revealed that a big portion of the film will be shot in Los Angeles.
